Hayley & Zander's Wedding

Hayley & Zander were high school sweethearts and yesterday, after many years of waiting, got married at Hamilton Hall in Salem. Before the ceremony, I have to say that a lot of the girls were pretty stressed out which is completely normal! I think it's important to read these blog posts and know that there's always anxiety, anticipation and imperfection with every wedding and the important thing to remember is to enjoy the day and don't sweat the small stuff.

I want every image to be beautiful and tell the story of the day, but photography can sometimes filter the drama of the actual moment and create the illusion of perfection. It's kind of like this video with some bridal chaos added to it! I don't want my brides to feel like the impressionable tween who sees the six foot size zero model and feel like they have to look that way because that's what the world perceives as beautiful.

At the end of the day the bride and groom were happy and it was a celebration which is what it's all about!
