Emily & Dave's Wedding

Sunday I photographed my dream wedding. It wasn't at the Park Plaza or the Ritz, it was at a little herb lyceum in Groton, MA. There wern't hundreds of guests, there were 25. There wern't glowing LCD lights decorating the walls of the grand ballroom, there were herbs hanging on the walls of the barn that you could smell the second you walked through the door. There wasn't a loud introduction followed by an amaging first dance, there were hugs after the ceremony and a "twirl" in the darkness under the single light on the lawn. It was small, intamate and romantic. My dream wedding.

I don't mean to say that I don't like those Park Plaza weddings, or ignore the bride and groom, they are all just as important and equally impressive. If you would like to learn more about Emily and Dave you can click here.

Kimmie & John's Wedding

Saturday Kimmie and John had to change their plans a bit. They had planned on a beautiful outdoor ceremony but because of a slight (ha!) rain issue, moved the ceremony inside. I talked to Kimmie that morning and she seemed disappointed but was willing to do what ever it took to get some great shots outside with John. It rained that day like it hadn't rained in a long time and it wasn't looking good as far as getting outside for photos, but after the ceremony the rain stopped and we did get a chance to take a walk down to the water!
