Lauren & Josh are another one of my long distance relationship couples. Josh is currently living in Florida and has one year of school left and one year until the wedding when he will be with his love Lauren at last! They're spending some time on the Cape together before he as to go back to school in a couple of weeks.
We met today in Harwich and took some photos in the back yard of Josh's neighbor who seemed to be in love with hydrangeas! The back yard is filled with them and they graciously offered to let us use their landscape as a backdrop to our engagement shoot. We also managed to get a few beach and boat shots in before the big storm hit later in the afternoon.

Conway Shoot With Kate!
Yesterday I took a drive out to Conway, MA where my best friend from high school lives and recently opened her first consignment art gallery. Kate opened the doors of the Conwaynain Artist two weeks ago and it's filled with paintings, jewelry, furniture and other crafts either about Conway or made by made by Conway artists.
Deciding the shop was lacking in the photography department, we set out in search of old barns, abandoned houses, rivers, streams and anything else that asked to be photographed along the way. We had a great time driving around catching up on life and taking pictures.
We are both busy working mom's and it was so nice to take some time out of our busy schedules of photographing brides and driving to dance recitals to spend some time together. Hopefully some of these will be on the walls of the shop soon!

This was our first stop. I love old falling down buildings and have driven by this barn many times on the way to Kate's and always wanted to stop.
Our next stop was this abandoned house which is right around the corner from Kate and Patty's.
Kate and Patty's house.
Here's Tia. She was our's at one time, but decided she wanted to live the country life and asked if she could go and live with Kate.
Here she is!

Valerie & Peter
Yesterday I got a chance to photograph Valerie and Peter's wedding in my hometown of Amherst, MA. They their ceremony was held at the Amherst Woman's Club, which is where I got married last year and the reception at the Eric Carle Museum. It was a beautiful and nostalgic day for me!
Here is their beautiful letterpress stationary. I <3 green!
Here's Valerie's brother getting ready to perform the ceremony. He was a "JP for the Day".
Valerie's dad right after the ceremony.
