Kira & David's Wedding

Yesterday was my first wedding of the season and I can't tell you how excited I was or how much fun I had! Kira and David got married at The Hawthorne Hotel in Salem, MA. It was a lovely morning ceremony with lots of friends and family there to celebrate their special day.

This first picture was taken by my assistant Chris of the guys pulling David to his demise. He looks really upset about it. :)

I love this shot of Kira by the window.

Kira and her bridesmaids. Three of them are her sisters.

Kira started getting nervous so they helped calm her down with a little soothing ice pack.

On the way to the ceremony. Feeling better!

Another one of my favorite shots of Kira and her dad.

In the hotel ballroom. Beautiful!

Kira and David's first drive together as husband and wife in the back of Chris's car. We had some extra time before the reception so we took a ride down to the waterfront for some romantics.

The first dance.

Donating to a Good Cause: Part 1

I'm really excited to be a part of The Portrait House, which is on a worldwide fund raising mission to raise money and awareness for Habitat for Humanity. Founded in 2006 by photographers, Justin & Mary Marantz, The Portrait House relies on a national network of the top photographers in the industry to offer their services in exchange for a direct donation to Habitat.

Since I'm primarily a wedding photographer I have decided to donate my services either through portrait or wedding photography. Here's how it works: You book a portrait sitting or an extra hour of coverage for your wedding, receive beautiful images of yourself or your loved ones and my usual fee of $250 magically changes to $100 and is donated to Habitat for Humanity! I really don't see how you can turn this down! If you would like to learn more about how you can help, or if you would like to book a portrait or donate a portion of your wedding in exchange for my photography services, please contact me!

Alex is 2!

Last week my son Alex celebrated his second birthday! He actually ended up having three birthdays and is still waiting on one more. If your wondering about this, there was a party at grandma's, a party at home and a party at daycare. The photos below were taken at my mother's house in Amherst the day before his actual birthday which is February 23rd. Alex was pretty sick while we were at grandmas so we're still waiting to go to grandpa's house for more presents and cake!

Here's my little cupcake eating (sort of) his birthday cupcake.

Playing with a birthday puzzle. If you didn't know, Alex is a puzzle prodigy!

The frosting is way more interesting.

and yummy!!!

We must investigate!

Rachel, is Alex's favorite girlfriend. He took this picture while sitting in my lap.

My favorite!!
