Krissy & David

On Sunday I took a drive out to Nahant with Krissy, David and their cockapoo Boston. They all live in the Worcester area but really wanted some photos on the beach. I’m not sure if anyone was out this past weekend, but it was about eighty degrees and everyone else thought it would be a good idea to hit the beach too! So we decided to explore the island and see if we could find someplace where there weren’t so many people. Although I live on the north shore, I really don’t know the beaches on Nahant very well so I stopped a jogger and asked her if she knew of a nice secluded place where we could go to take pictures. She led us to this spot and it couldn’t have been any more perfect. We were really lucky to have found such a great location on such a gorgeous day!

Becky & Patrick

Saturday was the perfect day for a wedding! Sunny, eighty and not a cloud in the sky. Rebecca and Patrick were blessed to have such a beautiful wedding and I was so excited when I woke up because I couldn’t wait to go to work! The ceremony was held at the Martha Mary Chapel in Sudbury, MA followed by a gorgeous reception at the Highfields Country Club in Grafton, MA. If you’re looking at some of these pictures and have the sensation of deja vu don’t worry, I was at the same location last weekend shooting Kerry & Andy’s wedding.

I was also really lucky to have Erin from Erin Chapman Imagery shooting with me. She is an amazing photographer and more importantly I had such a great time working with her!

One other cool detail I almost forgot to mention. Becky put Patrick in charge of finding the limo and he did an amazing job. I'm not sure if you noticed, but her bridesmaids dresses and flowers were purple. Now check out the seats in the limo shot!

Kerry & Andy

Today was a very special day in more than one way. Kerry and Andy celebrated their commitment to one another at their wedding and I celebrated my first wedding anniversary! April 19th is a date we will share together as one of the happiest days of our lives.

We started early and took the formals and romantics before the ceremony so that Kerry and Andy could enjoy their cocktail hour with their guests. We lucked out with a beautiful day and some great scenery on the golf course of the Highfields Country Club in Grafton, MA. I also worked with a great video team from Jeff Brouillet Video Productions. Jeff also happens to be Kerry's brother in law and shot this amazing engagement video of them in Newport. Kara & John's Engagement Shoot

Yesterday I met with Kara and John to take their engagement photos before they returned home to Chicago. They are planning a beautiful June wedding in downtown Boston, so Salem was a great setting for the shoot. We got a few water shots, although not as many as we had hoped due to the strong winds, and found some nice seclusion in the garden behind the Peabody Essex Museum. I had a great time getting to know Kara and John a little bit better yesterday and I can't wait to see them in June!
